There was a serious significance to the pomegranate according to one man that I spoke with. I cant remember what he said. His adamant tone stuck with me more than the actual words. So I looked it up.Originating  4000 years ago in The Middle East this super food is one of the highest in antioxidants. Its considered by many to be "the tree of life". Pomegranates little ruby red jewels burst with delicious flavor and make for a great still life.
