Alameda park has a tremendous variety of trees. They all look so incredible in the late afternoon sunshine with the long cast shadows. This Mortan Bay Fig tree is one of my favorites. Some of the twisting bending shapes take on an almost human like energy as if swaying to some groovy hippie beats. There will be plenty of grooviness this coming Saturday for the annual after parade party in the park. Happy Solstice!
