Central Valley Looking West

We paint like crazy when we go out to the island. This was the fourth painting for the day, the first being a similar view looking east. I like painting fast. The smarter subconscious can do a better job than the over-contemplating conscious. The results aren't always good but I liked these two views looking east and west. My brother and I already "had a few on the stringer" and a swim in the sea to top it all off but the late afternoon light was irresistible.
