My recent trip north to West Marin was not as productive as I would have liked. The weather simply wasn't cooperating. It rained my first day and then a fog bank rolled in that was thick enough to chew on. I got up high on an east facing ridge close to a place that I had painted before for this little one. Its a long drive for just a couple of paintings. Without good friends along the way I don't think I could justify the journey again.
