Last September I painted this big golden hill in West Marin. There wasn't a cloud in the sky and no cows roaming around either. It was quite boring so yesterday I threw in the clouds and the cows. I will take this one and five more to a show in Nicasio next weekend. It's a fundraiser by an outfit called MALT. They permanently protect farmland from development. It's a good thing!
