Climbing Gibralter 18x36 oil on canvas
Last February a friend invited me up the mountain to paint our front country. It was absolutely freezing up there. My nose was running like it does when you are on ski lift. My friend was a few yards above me and witnessed the frenzy of paint and long strands of snot flying off my face in the frigid wind. He got some pretty hilarious shots of the icy madness. I was wiggling all over the place like a lunatic to stay warm. Thats the way it goes sometimes painting out in the elements. Our Oak Group show titled "Front Country" is up now at The Faulkner Gallery until the 27th of August for all who may be interested.
